Black Hair

Wake me in the
morning don't you hesitate
I'll fix us up some grub it will put
you in the right state
and you will press
up against me
leaning like a wise old tree
with my hand around the small of your
back
and your black hair reaching just past
that
bare feet on bare
feet on soft rug
curling toes sharp nails testing out
your love
the phone rings and rings
and
why answer those things
I want to be here with you and this
feeling
goose bumps in the morning chill
shivering, yawning eyes tearing up and
I will
I will wake up but it's a lazy morning
thing
good for food good for love good for
plucking guitar strings
