Old
Winding Roads

the
music that lines my walls doesn't interest
me anymore
I used to be a mix tape machine but
now it's all just a bore
I like the feel of fretted strings under
callused finger tips
running a path to find the wind and
the feel of pulsing under ribs
convenience
makes life so unsatisfying
old winding roads are the best for driving
I
need to do the thinking that is like
a question
when clouds are pillows to walk on
and flying is possible if you try and
the best time is the dawn
turn your eyes to the sky it's crazy
blue
and the clouds are so damn dark I don't
know what they'll do
the air is crisp after the rain mmm
that's true
the trails are a calling pull on your
boots
convenience
makes life so unsatisfying
old winding roads are the best for driving
there are no more days that I can pass
caught up in the biggest of lies
the song birds wont always sing so I'm
going to listen by and by
convenience
makes life so unsatisfying
old winding roads are the best for driving
